A: Yes most of the time Kerries are fantastic with kids. Like with any dog monitoring is suggested

A: No Kerry blues are a nonshedding breed, they do require regular grooming.

A: Every 4-6weeks depending on the length of coat

A: As Kerry blues are terriers, they do have some prey drive(some more than others)

How much exercise do they require?

A: This varies depending upon the dog however a good walk each day does the trick

A: Kerry blues normally live anywhere from 12-18years

Do they have many health problems?

A: the breed has generally very few known health issues. Thankfully we do have tests for these known genetic issues. Which include Factor XI, PNA, DM and Von Willebrands. Testing for hips and elbows are also standard in the breed.
